Cannot download gz file

11 Dec 2012 Hi, My site's problem is when people access the primary domain name (Homepage url), the site can not be accessed but there is a tiny .gz file

A file using .tar.gz format is a file that has been created using the Unix-based archival application tar and then compressed using gzip compression. A lot of the .gz files took forever to download so I just cancelled them. Some of them did download, however. I opened up the downloaded files in Notepad++ (since it leaves binary files mostly intact when you open them as text files), removed the HTTP headers and then opened the rest of the .gz file in 7zip.
